Data Processing and Interpretation

We provide the best possible support to help you design logging programs to increase the chance to obtain good quality information. This will include the gathering of the information required for the design of the program.

Once at the job, our consultants will be in direct contact with your field engineer to address any issues that could arise during the logging job and to monitor the quality of the data being recorded.

Once the data acquisition is finished and, if possible, a quick summary will be prepared and the processing and interpretation will be initiated.

Guidelines for the initial discussion and final presentation to the customer will be prepared and presented.

PRODUCTION AND INJECTION LOGS

We use Kappa Emeraude to process the Production or Injection Logs to obtain the estimated downhole rates and the corresponding surface rate correlation to actual measured rates.

MULTI FINGER CALIPERS

Multi-Finger Caliper processing to evaluate problem areas in your tubulars from data acquired by any tool manufacturer. Enhanced report preparation to be delivered to your customer in record time.

ELECTROMAGNETIC THICKNESS DETECTORS

Stand-Alone or ran in combination with Multi-Finger Calipers, the thickness evaluation can be processed and reported.

NOISE AND TEMPERATURE

Temperature and Noise logs are one of the most valuable tools available to provide information about anomalies in your completion as well as abnormal behaviors behind the well's casing. For the correct evaluation of this kind of logs, it's very important to obtain as much information as possible about the well's behavior and plan to get the best information possible. Well planned jobs generally produce good information to get an accurate idea of the root cause of the anomalies or abnormal behaviors.

PRESSURE BUILD-UPS AND FALL-OFFS

We use Kappa Saphir for planning (modeling) and analyzing pressure and temperature data from build-up and fall-off tests. For the planning, with general information about your customer's reservoir, we could anticipate the approximate duration of the test required to observe the desired flow regimes, specially the radial flow.

DISTRIBUTED TEMPERATURE INTERPRETATION

We use the latest versions of Kappa Emeraude for plotting the Depth, Time and Temperature-based information and we have proprietary applications to estimate production or injection rates from the "Real Time" information obtained from the fiber optic line.

DISTRIBUTED ACOUSTIC INTERPRETATION

Distributed Acoustic interpretation can be as simple as evaluating Depth-Based Acoustic Signature Plots and as complex as requiring the data filtering and processing power used to process seismic data. In agreement with geoscience partners, we can process and interpret the multiple acoustic signatures acquired, depending on the scope of the service.
